Over my first placement in my 3rd year of college I created a unit of learning for 1st year students exploring the theme of 'spiralling out of control'. Students used shells as their primary research, investigating their shapes, lines and patterns through mark making. They than chose an image from their primary research paintings using a viewfinder to further explore by translating it into a ceramic form. ​

Following students completion of this project I created this screencast to explain my assessment rationale and how my original assessment design plan had been adapted in response to the students experience of completing this project.
