My practice explores the complexity of narcissistic relationships from the perspective of a child. By incorporating my childhood favourite colours I am transforming difficult memories into seemingly cute and innocent pieces. This reflects how relationships that often appear normal on the surface can point to something much darker. This is achieved by working with distorted and ambiguous text demonstrating the intricacy of interpersonal relationships.
